Kendrick Hobbs has worked with St. Paul’s Cathedral on several projects across their catering operations; café, restaurant, events and commercial spaces.
Originally we were tasked with providing a strategy for day and event services. This was based on site and market research and investigation of the options available. We supported the Cathedral set up management structures for catering and events marketing and management and implemented the strategy which involved drafting new contract documents and service level agreements for public and event catering operations.
In 2009 we tendered the contracts and put in place a retail ‘day’ caterer for the café and restaurant supported by a panel of caterers for events. On the natural expiry of this contract in 2009; we were again asked to support a management tender process to explore the Cathedral’s options.
Additionally we let on a commercial basis a premises previously used by the Cathedral as a shop off Paternoster Square to Paul (the French bakery chain); this has provided a new strong income stream
