Mark Hobbs, principal is an independent consultant with approaching 25 years experience in the catering and commercial business industry in catering operations and consultancy.
Mark’s experience is supported by professional qualifications (BA Hons) International Hospitality Management from Brighton University.
Prior to forming kendrick hobbs in 2004 his experience in the industry includes hands-on periods and management roles in cafés, restaurants, contract catering, pubs/bars and within event catering.
Having managed catering operations for chain operators including Forte Restaurants as well as bars and restaurants with private companies in London and in the Midlands, Mark joined a commercial consultancy in the early 1990’s. He undertook a large and varied number of catering projects both in the UK, continental Europe and in the Middle East working mainly in retail, visitor attraction and workplace sectors.
Mark is an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to his clients.
Mark has been responsible for 20 years for managing and delivering catering consultancy projects for a variety of clients across a wide range of situations in the UK, continental Europe and the Middle East within private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Particular specialist areas include retail catering, arts and heritage sector cafés, restaurants and event catering and catering in the workplace.
As lead consultant he brings a measured approach and personal dedication to get the job done.
